Greetings, my dear reader,

Welcome to my new home on Writerstead. It’s been a long and roundabout journey to finally end up here.

My husband and I wrote and published our first book together in 2013, a book about our favorite web framework at the time, Django. Years later, we find ourselves both wanting to write fiction instead of tech.

What a lot of people don’t know is that from 2016 to 2017, Daniel and I wrote four fantasy novels together. The series was called Ambria and was the story of a young warrior coming of age.

This is going to be a place where I write and edit in public going forward. You’ll find:

· Stories from my personal journey of republishing the Ambria series as Abyssia · Details about my technical books, too, if you’re looking for them · The new experimental juvenile fiction novels that I’ve quietly been creating with my daughter
